Because Real Estate is so closely intertwined with interior design, I figured I'd share a few of my favorite sources of inspiration for Southern decor.
Garden & Gun
Let's start with the obvious. Garden & Gun is a beautifully arranged magazine that details the modern South with stories on Southern food, style, home, art and more.
Their home tours are absolutely gorgeous and give me so many ideas when real estate clients want inspiration to stage their home before they sell.
This makes a GREAT addition to any coffee table and is perfect to peruse through on slow Sunday afternoons.
Style Blueprint
SB is another guide to modern, Southern living. Their tag line is "Connecting Women to Their Community" which I think is so important in age where everyone seems so preoccupied with tech and the hustle of every day life.
I love this publication because they have a magazine specific to Nashville. That means keeping up with events, makers and restaurants in the area is that much easier. I love to be able to plug my clients into the scene when they shop for real estate in Middle Tennessee.
Driftwood Decor
Driftwood Decor is a blogger on Instagram that I really like. Her home is clean, white and bright with little accents that really make whatever she's working on pop.
I believe she's actually based out of Ontario, but she's done such a good job creating the modern farmhouse feel that she gets a pass from this Southern girl.
Julie Couch Interiors
Julie Couch has another great Instagram account to keep an eye on. She's a Nashville interior designer who mixes her projects with her family life on her account.
It's inspiring to see a young family achieve their dreams through creativity and doing what they love.
Hat's off to Julie!
That's all for now! Thank you so much for reading and as always, if you're interested changing up your nest, whether that's buying, selling, or just getting great referrals on stagers, painters or other vendors in town, let me know! I'm here for you!
